Our students worked hard to put on a wonderful spring concert. Special thanks to Mrs. Broeska!
1-2J and 1K went on a field trip to Winnipeg at the U of M Bison Children's Programs. We sure had a lot of fun! Field Trip.wmv
We had the opportunity to have Mrs. Chris Larsen, Liam's Grandma, come in to spend an afternoon doing art with us. Together, we created an outdoor sidewalk mural to brighten the area outside the office doors. Check out our work!
We were priviledged to have a Japanese drumming group named Fabuki Daiko come to our school. They performed for us and our class also had a one hour session with them to learn some drumming techniques. What a neat experience!
On Valentine's Day, we had the priviledge of attending a performance by the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, followed by an afternoon of activities at Fort Whyte. The students have studied the musical pieces with Mrs. Broeska and can tell you information about them. Check out some of our learning experiences!
On Friday, February 11th we had the opportunity to hear from Olympic athlete Jared Funk who has competed in two Olympics in Wheelchair rugby. He shared some of his many experiences as he has travelled all over the world doing what he loves! We also had our Valentine's party on the same day!
Through our Phys. Ed. program we went skating at the local arena in December. I wonder if the next Sydney Crosby or Eddie Belfour will come from our group!
We had a great time at our Reading Celebration Tobaganning party! There were so many smiles & giggles! What a great afternoon! Thank you to our parent drivers Mrs. Plaitin, Mrs. Takvam, Mrs. Reimer, & Mrs. Wiebe - we couldn't have gone without your willingness to escort us!
Take a glimpse into our class as we enjoyed getting to know one another on our first day of school!
